A Very Pleasant Journey Indeed.

Dear All,

Yesterday afternoon I had a Dermatology Appointment, at Ipswich Hospital. However, rather than my Mother Driving, we arranged for a Voluntary Driver to take us Both, My Mother Drove, to my Flats, and left her car there (one thing we are not Short Of is Parking Places).

The Driver, who it turned out we knew, arrived-in a Spacious and comfortable car- On Time. The Journey taking about an hour, which is Normal, before Dropping Us at the Main Outpatient Entrance, (not necessarily the best entry point, for Dermatology, but still.)

My Appointment was On Time, we had been Joking- with another Couple- about How Long we might wait! My Skin was 'Fine', with no areas 'Of Concern',( just one Silly/ Stupid area on my Face that she Froze for me. This should now Blister, Scab, maybe Weep A Bit before scabbing and 'Hopefully' Growing Back Clear/ Normal- after a few weeks.)

I phoned The Driver, telling him we would be about ten minutes- by the time we walked back, used the toilet etc. The return journey was just as pleasant, and before long, I was Home once more. There being a Little more traffic, in Ipswich, mainly School Children.

In all a Very Pleasant experience, made better by the fact that it is currently Free- due to a Subsidy.

hi there. I’m still exploring this site. Noticed vasculitis and wanted to reach out. I guess there is a community too. I have vascular behcets syndrome and relapsing polychondritis. It isn’t a picnic at all! Can relate to Drs appts and when they are on time ….woah! I have over 20 treating docs and varying therapists for voice box, pelvic floor etc. in addition my stomach is paralyzed and pretty much can only eat liquid or baby food. Hang in there! Enjoyed your post.
