Hello
Does anyone on here, get severe pain around their eye socket, and around the base of the ear, where your ear canal goes into the skull.
I usually have it before a silent migraine.
Thank you

I have that pain most of the time. My ophthalmologist instst that it is dry eyes (for which I am treated), but it feels closer to how uveitis feels. Restasis, tests, heat packs, ice, antihistamine drops don't make my eyes feel any better. feel better. I hope your improve.
Dear Lanflashdavies,
I think this might 'Just' be your Migraine Warning- a friend of mine, from some years ago- used to Suddenly Wet' herself.... anywhere from three minutes, to half a hour, prior to a Seizure. It might be Worth speaking to the E(ar), N(ose) & M(outh) Team though.... Covid nothwithstanding.
I hope that you 'Get Better' soon though, my friend.

Many types of vasculitis affect the ears and eyes, eg GPA, relapsing polychondritis etc. Do look at the website and call the helpline for more information.
Yes I get that sometimes usually lasts a few days
Hi, I have relapsing polychondritis and primary sjogrens syndrome and experience both you have described at different pain levels and can come on at anytime. I use heated eye mask daily. Hope you find something to ease your discomfort. My daughter experiences severe migraine and one of her warnings is 'screwdriver in the eye' as she describes it about 30 mins before the eye glare and flashes and numbness in her arms.
