Hi hope everyone is keeping as well as possible as we enter the next phase in the pandemic.
I was wondering how people coped with the antiviral medication either oral or IV and if they had any side effects. Is there a limit to how many times you can receive them ?
We have not needed any but almost feel it’s almost inevitable as we move forward despite being extremely careful and asking visitors to do a LF .
Thank you

Hi, I had a sotrovimab infusion to treat COVID in late December. I had a bit of a weird twitching feeling when the drip first started but no other side effects. I believe the treatment helped reduce the severity of my illness and I no longer had a fever after the IV.
They told me that the extra antibodies from the IV treatment last 90 days. They didn’t say anything to me about what happens if I get COVID again and I didn’t ask. This was the first time I caught the virus. I presume that if I test positive on PCR again, that will be a question I can ask the doctor.
