I have had this rash for 4.5 years and was initially told it was pityriasis Rosea. After repeated visits to the gp I get a referral to dermatology. All I have been told it that I’m being tested for Vasculitis. It has terrified me and I am so confused and overwhelmed when I look up “Vasculitis” online.
The rash is on my inner arms, stomach and upper thighs.
I know you can’t diagnose but I’m just wondering if anyone else’s rash looks like this? The google images show rashes that look very different.
Thank you

There are a lot of different sorts of rashes in vasculitis, there are a lot of different sorts of vasculitis. It is difficult to see from your photo but I get the impression it looks a bit like livedo reticularis:
and as you will see there are a lot of causes so don't panic when you read the list. Vasculitis is just one of them - and there are some very simple causes.
The trouble with the google images is they just show the extreme end of the spectrum - the ones here are less scary I think.
The best place to visit is vasculitis.org.uk/ 0300 365 0075 "they try to answer calls between 8am and 10pm, but we are a small team, and on occasions you may hit our messaging service. We check for messages several times per day and will get back to you as soon as we can."
Don't borrow trouble. Until your blood tests are in, there is no way to know. As PMR pro stated, Vasculitis encompasses many different diseases; it's a broad term, and if that is your only symptom, I would not worry too much. I don't have GPA,. but your leg looks better than my legs. But do let us know the outcome.
