I know this is going to come across a weird question. I feel I have to ask to settle this niggling in my head.

I have Cutaneous Vasculitis. My issues are from my knees down with my small blood vessels.

I may need to take a short flight between two UK airports. Would I be ok because of the cabin pressure?

Would it cause issues with my legs?

Grateful for any answers

No. I have an appointment on wednesday with rheumatology for update app but need to book flight before then. I am a awful passenger on long journeys and need to attend a funeral. Perhaps have to do a train

Phone the department - explain your predicament. Personally I wouldn't have thought a short flight would hurt but I'm not a medic.

I would, tend to agree, but DO check with you Doctors. I would just Telephone, their Secretary, if you can and explain. Good luck.

I would be interested, to know, what 'they' say actually.

Thank you for your message

I’d speak to you rheum nurse or GP but would think short flight ok. I always wear compression socks and double my aspirin before and after the flight. I only take 150mg aspirin a day normally; don’t know if you’re on any anticoagulants. Good luck x
