As far as I understand it igg4 is a measure of how well your immune system is working rather than an illness itself. My igg levels dropped to 3 and I'm now on immunoglobulin (igg) replacement therapy but for many that's not necessary as the immune system often restores igg levels itself. Have you been on rituximab as that often causes the condition?

No. Have only been on Aza & Urso for 4 weeks as well as ongoing Pred. I am seeing Liver specialist next week for check up

I don’t have IgG4, which i think is a systemic inflammatory condition characterised by tissues infiltrated with lymphocytes & igG4 plasma secreting cells

But i do have the CVID (Common Variable Immunodeficiency) hypogammaglobulinaemia (mine involves chronically below normal Ig G,A,M which are not due to the immunosuppression meds i take for my very early onset systemic lupus & associated secondaries including small vessel vasculitis). Immunology has me on daily antibiotics indefinitely, and i’ll go onto IVIG as well if infections breakthrough

My impression is that IgG4 is treated with prednisolone + similar immunosuppression meds to those i’m prescribed for lupus, s.c. vasculitis etc

Are you diagnosed with vasculitis as well as IgG4?

No, but I understand Vasculitis is an ‘umbrella’ term. Seeing my liver specialist next week for next check
