Lump in feet

I have discovered a very small but firm lump under the skin on my foot arch. At times no problem but once touched or at times when walking I get a very bad pain. I limped all day yesterday. Anyone know what it is? Living with SLE since 1996 and have recently deduced amount of medication taking ..only now on Cellcept and Warfin.

It could be a ganglion. I had one in my wrist a while back.

Dear Tunda,

I am, almost certain, that that this is nothing to worry about but......Please, please, please and please again DO get this checked. Surely better to be safe, especially with our condition. Yes maybe I AM a 'worrier'/'over cautious'/'old woman'(man) and yes I am, almost guaranteed, to be worrying over nothing. But (never start a sentence with 'but' it's dreadful grammar) please promise me you will have it checked, will you?

Please do reply telling me that I was over reacting.

Thank you for your concern, I'm booked in to see my Consultant next week, and will be doing an INR tomorrow to confirm if it could be a clot.
