So not only do they get free prescriptions but will access services that we are struggling to access. If they need to improve waiting times employ more staff even if this means they also have to pay precriptions

This article sounds really bizarre to me, and I am not sure where it is coming from.....but one thing I do know is that people with rare diseases such as vasculitis, if the medical expertise is not found within Wales to treat patients, they find it very difficult to get/have referrals to England. Patients have lost their lives because of this. Many patients I know with a rare disease from Wales and Scotland would prefer to pay for prescriptions, if it meant they could cross borders to access better treatment, medication and care.
