I have seen my GP and she says that it is possible to have fits with vasculitis, I am waiting to see Rheumatologist in 2 weeks for further tests

Good, Basil. The rheumatologist will be able to give you a definite answer as to whether you have vasculitis and which type you may have, as well as answer the question you posed above. He will no doubt do further blood tests, etc and maybe order an MRI scan. Once all the results are in, he will then be able to start you on medication that will help, presuming you have this disease.

If you have any further fits, then I would recommend you contact your GP immediately so that your appointment can be brought forward. Good luck!

Apologies - didn't read your earlier reply. I see you are confirmed as having vasculitis. Now you just need to ask your rheumatologist to investigate the cause of your fit. I presume you haven't had a feverish illness lately, or anything else that would predispose you to a fit?

I don,t exactly have a fit, if you mean a fully fledged fit, but I do have regular tremors at flare that last anything from 20mins to 45mins, and at this time my whole body shakes, it has been put down to my rise in temperature which can go to 39.5, As Ayla says fever can be a cause.
