Lake District Walk - CANCELLED

Hi Everyone,

As announced last weekend at the AGM, unfortunately Jane Tomlinson's (the organisers of the Lake District Walking Festival) have had to cancel the Lake District event due to unforeseen circumstances.

We were really disappointed not to be able to offer you fundraising walks in the Lakes and we didn't want to miss the opportunity to be part of such a big event. So instead we have arranged to partner Jane Tomlinson's on their Dales Walking Festival a few weeks earlier.

The Dales Walking Festival promises to be even bigger and better than the Lakes one ! It takes place on Sunday the 18th of August around Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. As in the Lakes there will be three walks : a short 5 mile walk, an intermediate 14 mile and a long 28 mile challenge.

More details will follow in due course.

Once again we're really sorry to have had to cancel the Lakes event but hope that those who expressed an interest will be able to join us in the Dales in August instead.
