I get itching . It’s normally when urea levels are elated in blood. Mine have always been high . I’ve had my transplant for 25 years now . I think it’s something u have to put up with to be honest

Had my transplant almost 2 years ago and the transplant has helped greatly reduce my itchiness.

Hello Chicago, (great name, always wanted to visit "it")I also suffer from dry skin {(Sjoegren's and Sicca Syndrome, "usually"connected with Lupus (MCTD)} and I also have to "put on" cream after every shower/bath and, if some itchiness "comes along" during the rest of the day, I always put on more cream on that precise spot and the problem quickly "gets sorted". With my skin it is very important, that the cream I use is totally basic without anything "enhancing" like perfumes etc., otherwise the itchiness would continue, due to an allergy to the above mentioned etc.

Good luck-wishes from SalSi.

I had itchy ankles before my transplant, which disappeared after the transplant. My nephrologists usually blamed that itching on high phosphorous levels.
