Sorry to read this. Has your doctor suggested any diet? I had glommular nephritis when I was 19 years old. The doctor put me on a low protein diet when it got worse years later. It kept me off dialysis for 8 years. I don’t know if this is done today. I was monitored by a doctor. I have a transplant that had lasted 24 years so far. Good luck to you. Don’t change your diet without your doctor’s help.

the consultant hasnt suggested anything yet.he told me to continue as normal for the next 6 weeks then he will give me more information at my next appointment after the new tablets have had time to work at hopefully bringing my blood pressure down

As far as I am aware there is no diet that can reverse the damage caused by antibodies. I mean ask your Renal Clinicians or your doctor but I am sure reversal is impossible xx

No hunny you have to steer clear of foods with potassium as your kidneys cannot clear it and potassium causes heart attacks. If you have been given a Renal diet sheet please stick to it that is really important for your well being.
