Q2 - countdown to 12 months of negative (anti gbm) antibodies. When will we get a date/transplant

My husband has kidney failure through a condition called anti gbm and so has to be clear of the antibodies for 12 months before transplant. His blood tests were negative from feb 2013 and we have an appt booked for the middle of jan 2014, where all the live donor transplant work should be complete.

Has anyone had a love donor transplant lined up in this way? Not sure if we will see the specialist in jan for him to say ok it's gonna be 2 weeks or if it will be a bit longer.

I feel like we are getting different responses from different doctors.
