I’ve just returned from Birmingham from my regular Habit Reversal Training and aromatherapy session and have been met with some tragic news. Sadly last night my dear friend and neighbour Magpie passed away last night. I was lucky to spend yesterday afternoon with her, but I never for a moment thought that that would be the last time I’d see her. She will be greatly missed, before being tragically struck down by an inoperable brain aneurism she was very much a major player in our village and often found organising some kind of event in the local community centre. Being away from my family Magpie was like having an extra aunty, always there with a cup of tea and a shoulder to cry on. It’s only now as I’m writing this it’s hitting me, in fact I can’t seem to be able to refer to her in the past tense. I’m going to miss her. My friend Magpie.
