Otomize Ear Spray

I went to doctor with an ear problem, ear infection. They prescribed Otomize. I have used it for a few days already, but now reading about it here I”m worried. I had buzzing in my ear to start with before using Otomize. It started with the ear infection. But my ear still feels the same. Don’t feel it was working. But after reading comments about it on here am feeling concerned about using it. I have now been prescribed oral Flucloxacillin capsules. Have I damaged my ear further by using Otomize ear spray? I also go to the gym a lot, do classes in a studio and spinning. Should I use ear plugs? A friend recommended silicone ear plugs which staying better than others when moving around. Thanks.
