Has anyone got a recommendation for a sleep sound app my tinnitus is very loud and pretty much constant with varying volumes and pitches and is worse at sleep time. I've been bought a pillow with a speaker for Christmas but the apps I've tried sound like the noises I already have

There’s an App called Sleep Pillow, I’ve used it for years, it has a great many sounds and you can mix them together. For a small fee you can download extra packs.

I listen to Sleep Deeper, Live Better by Mark Bowden on YouTube it’s sleep hypnotherapy. They’re about 8 hours long and it’s a really soothing voice. Really helped me with my insomnia battle

I use Insight Timer on You Tube. It has sounds, music, and guided meditation. I like Andrew Johnson and Andy Hobson.

I just use White Noise app on my phone. It has various different sounds to try....I found 3 or 4 that best suited my PT.

And now I don't use it.....the PT is still there but I can just block it out myself.

It's free so worth a go!

I made my own sound by recording onto my phone the narrow burn that runs by the house when it was just more than a trickle. I find the sound very relaxing and it sends me to sleep easily if I want to. I prefer it to the white noise apps and the iPhone sound (which isn’t bad for this, though).
