cochlear implants

Hello , I have been away from the tInnitus group but thought I would just put a message out there . I have had really bad tinnitus for 7 years now as a result of a grommet being put in my ear. I have had 8 operations on my ear …a grommet put in and out twice , a stapadectomy ( bone removed) and I am onto my second cochlear implant. So I have constant ringing and pain in my ear which is very depressing. Just wondering if anyone has had pain after having a cochlear implant. My pain is inside my ear. I hope one day someone comes up with something to get rid of this awful condition so we call all get on with our lives. Jenny
