Hi everyone i have been going through a lot lately and would really love some positive comments. I have Tinnius in my right ear. This was a result from a dr trying to put a grommet in my ear. It was taken out and put back in 3 times , then I had a stapadectomy.then I had a cochlear implant … but it was taken out two years ago. It was painful so I had another one put in. I a constantly in pain but just have to keep going for my family . I live in Australia which has a very good medical system . If you feel like giving me some encouragement … that would be be great.
Thank you to all who have read this ,xxxxx

Hi 1Dar. It sounds like you've been thru the mill. Tinnitus is tough. Tinnitus plus pain in your ear is extra tough. Good for you for keeping going for your family. That's very selfless. They're lucky to have you. You've got a positive attitude which - no doubt - helps you along the way. Keep going, keep smiling, keep hoping. A big hug xxx
Hi dog lover , thanks so much for replying to me , I so much regret having the grommet put in the first place . I’m not as tough as you think I’ve had many a day where I just simply can’t get out of bed. I know I’m doing all the wrong things by sitting around feeling sorry for myself , but it’s really tough to keep going. How long have you had tinnitus for .? Have you got it in both ears? I’m going into hospital on Tuesday for a pain injection so hopefully that will give me some comfort. I appreciate your message .. take care ….Jenny
Hi Jenny. It's not easy living with pain all the time. Give yourself credit for the times you are positive & don't beat yourself up when you're not . Be kind to yourself . I've had troublesome T for over a year now. Loud in my deaf ear; quieter in my good ear. Hope all goes well next week. Hopefully it bring you some relief. You take care.
Hi there, I too had gromits fitted but when I was very young and don’t seem to have caused me any problems other than scarring. Could I please ask how you went on with the stapedectomy as I am on the waiting list for this operation & I am a little worried of the risks involved but feel I need to have this in order to help more than anything with the awful tinnitus . Thank you & stay positive, hard some days I know! .
Hi Jenny, I know it is difficult sometimes, I have good and bad days, my Tinnitus is a very high pitched sound, just like the one you get sometimes from a florescent tube light.
The only thing I can suggest is stay positive I know exactly what you are going through.
