I’ve had tinnitus in one ear for a year since I had Covid. It’s really flared up recently. It’s the low hum, car idling outside type. I also have a high pitched tone but that doesn’t bother me in the way that the low one does. Have seen an audiologist and had an MRI but basically just waiting on the NHS telling me that there’s nothing else they can do.
Just wanted to say that yesterday I discovered the Ooooo app. It’s a binaural sound and white/brown noise app where you can set the tone of the sound and the volume of the noise to your specifications and I’ve found it so helpful. Much better than searching for the right masking or habituation noise on YouTube or wherever. It’s very simple and completely free. You can also listen to it and listen to audiobooks/podcasts at the same time which I found so helpful. Hopefully it’ll be of use to others too!

Thanks for the tip. I use an App called sleep pillow, there’s a free version but for a small fee you can unlock all the sounds, which is what I did. You can mix sounds to suit yourself, the App has some low frequency binaural sounds. I use it every night.
