Hi an app to help tinnitus

Hi everyone I’m new on here, I’ve had tinnitus most of my life and sometimes I seem to cope at the moment it’s quite unbearable but I am very stressed right now. I just want to contribute a little on here as I have been playing an app on my phone along with my earplugs and it’s called myNoise there are various noises to try but I tend to go with spring walk, you can also adapt the different sounds to what suits you best and the you can save favourites. I don’t ever remember paying for this app and I did download it a while ago but have only recently started to use it more. I am going to the doctor today to ask to see a hearing specialist, this will be my third attempt as the hearing aids seem to hurt my hear like a pin sticking in my ear but I’ll give it another go. I am also taking seresta 10 mg which seems to calm me and in turn helps the tinnitus although it does wear off as the day goes on. I’ll report back if I manage to get some help.

Sounds good. I created a similar free app that I use myself for sleeping, called RELAXIFY on the Google Play store. But, for targeted therapy for tinnitus, I created an app which uses a technique called spectrally notched audio therapy to actually treat tonal tinnitus, called "Tinnitus Therapy - Stop the ringing in your ears". The purpose of that is NOT simply to mask tinnitus sounds, but to induce retraining by playing pink noise with the frequency of your tinnitus filtered out. The app is not free, sorry, but is on sale this week.

No problem. And if you have trouble homing in on what frequency your tinnitus is - let me know. The app works best for 'tonal tinnitus' (that is, a ringing or humming sound, more than a rushing or hissing sound).

Hi, I did take a look for your app but I need google play which isn't on my phone, I will give it another try although my tinnitus is a very high pitched hissing sound so not sure it would help but I appreciate your help.
