How to prevent an increase in my tinnitus from the covid 19 vaccine.

Hello! Sorry for my bad english! I'm from Argentina and I have had tinnitus for 10 months. I didn't take the covid vaccine yet, because I'm afraid that the vaccine could increase my tinnitus. Is there anything I can take to prevent that problem? Some drug that could keep me from getting the inflammatory response?

Hello,Aldo. Your English is great! Of the many many millions of people who have been vaccinated only a few have reported an increase in their tinnitus. And if the Tinnitus has got less after the vaccine, no-one is going to report that the the authorities, are they!Personally I would say that the risk of getting Covid and their tinnitus worsening is far worse than the risk of getting tinnitus after vaccination. Please go to to the website of the British tinnitus Association and read the information on Covid and tinnitus there.

There is currently nothing you can take to prevent tinnitus as far as anyone is aware. There may be lots of advertising about this but it’s all rubbish.

NAC - is a powerful natural antioxidant sold as a food supplement. If you google N-Acetyl -Cysteine you will find out how this protein protects our body from many ototoxic drugs and helps to calm down inflammatory response for certain type of illness in our body. It might not be the solution, but you can make your own mind up about it. Good luck

Thank you!! It's incredible that this association doesn't bring information about Tinnitus vaccine reactogenicity!!

It s incredible indeed! After taking the vaxine tinnitus should be the least of your worries. Most of the people had no side effects...yet, it s still in the probation period ,which is encouraging. Just a few people died from it but off course they must've had other chronic diseases. As a tinnitus sufferer I would never put anything in my body that would present the slightest risk to increase my tinnitus or worse to give me other complications like blood clots or even an early death. It s enough we have many othotoxic antibiotics or other medicines .I hardly managed to habituate with my tinnitus I don t need any experiment to bring me more pain and suffering.

Hi, I got my 1st shot in July 01st in Brazil and after 3 days i got my tinnitus worse in the left ear only. Since then, I pass in 2 doctors and both of then just asked me take busonid nasal spray and in one of them asked be to take azithromycin for 5 day, 1 pill per day. After start this medication I feel the situation got a little worse. And now I am little desperate because now I feel like there is something blocking my ear, seems there is something inside my ear

Hi PsKoji, i’m sorry to hear about your tinnitus spike. Personally I think vaccine can do that and mine got worse with both jabs. However the vaccine triggers an immune response and can create inflammation around the body and that is why the tinnitus can get worse. Again personally I would not take the nasal spray and the other pill they prescribed. My approach will be , chamomile, NAC ( protects from Ototoxic effect, magnesium, vitamin C and zinc, at least for 10 days. This is what I do for myself and it helps to calm it down. Wishing you a quick recovery. Let us know how you get on. All the best
