i have been taking 50g trazadone for a few weeks switched to 100g 10 days ago my tinnitus increased dramaticaly my anxiety level is high as well i have now got a pounding tinnitus as well now its driving me nuts it seems to be coming from my head i now have that to contend with as well as all the other noise in a quiet room its unbearable very hard to settle and to sleep has any body els had had this horrible thing happen to them regarding trazadone should i stop taking them

I’ve just had a quick look at the side effects of this drug. From my reading of it, you should be back at your doctors telling them about your problems. Other posters may be more helpful than me.

I’d go back to my doctor !! Usually spikes like this ease off in a few days !! Try and listen to something at night time !! I use Nature sounds on YouTube !! Or Radio 4 ! Good luck hang in there !!

I developed tinnitus after 3 weeks on Trazodone. Never had a problem before. I am cutting dose slowly from 50 mgs over next few weeks. Hope to get off it completely. I am sure it is the cause. Really fed up!
