That sounds interesting. I have heard a lot about chiropractor helping many things . Vitamin B 12 should only be taken if you need that vitamins. However, very good point. I would love to find something to help me too and everyone else on here that’s suffering this horrible thing.
In my experience, it might be worth seeing a good physio or chiropractor at least for an assessment of your neck/back. A good therapist can advise about exercise/posture/mattress and pillow arrangements to try and improve a distressed musculoskeletal situation with therapy. Neck and back pain on top of T is like getting a "first" in applied misery!
However, I'm inclined to believe that if T eases up during any kind of complementary therapy, it is most likely the result of fortunate happenstance rather than intention. I am seeing a good chiro who doesn't offer a fix for T. He freely admits that he does not know what causes it. Most T seems to be of unknown origin, even when one has been put through a myriad of medical tests and scans. ENT (or neurosurgery/neurology) specialists are best placed to identify a likely cause of T if they can find one, and this seems to me to be a rare occurrence indeed.
Meanwhile, massage, conservative manipulation (nothing too fierce around the head/neck area) and exercise should be sufficient to help improve posture and reduce pain caused by a bad one. It should help you relax as well.
If the regime happens to improve T in the process, that's a bonus!
Hi bantams.I tried a chiro & it made my tinnitus worse. He was a very well renound chrio too , and I was so so hopeful.
I take b12 everyday & if your body doesn't need it you just pee it out.
All the best
Hi. My T is quite a bad case. Up to four noises in left ear, two in the right. The worst of which is a vibration in my right. It’s taken along time to adjust to, but heading in the right direction.
I see a chiropractor once a month. For my brain it’s important to know I’m doing everything possible. The chiropractor and massage helps the bio mechanics to work as they should, plus help me relax. It really helps my T. There is a spike for a day or two then I get results, mainly it eases/stops the vibration.
My experience so far is most people’s T is different and its import to try new things as long as they are safe. I listen to my GP and the BTA.
Hope this helps you.
Richard
Chiros are quacks imo. Osteopaths are much better.
I actually tryed chiropractic for my Tinnitus last Wednesday.Unfortunately for me didnt work, but helps enormously with my other thousand things wrong with me,lolBest to u.
Worth trying,as everyone is different.
Hi Bantams. I have T and have had it for many, many years. Due to back issues I see an oesteopath or Sports Therapist on a regular basis. It has not helped with my T and I did not expect it to. The best thing I can do is to get outside where the noise in the ear appears to be a lot less than when I am inside.
