Yes, I have two sounds related to frequencies in my hearing loss. One is a high pitched screech and the other a low hum like a fridge.
I've not had accupuncture, but there is some evidence it can help relieve tinnitus. Different treatment may depend on the cause and type of your tinnitus.
Greetings… I’ve been having Acupuncture for 10 months. It definitely helps, Tinnitus is so Complex and Subjective. Blood pressure effects it.! Diet.I have embarked on a plant based diet, eventually ( lol).
Cycling, Swimming, & I’m going to engage with a CBT therapist…
Abstract.=. Helps, but not Sustainable, eg.££££)

Thank you so much for your reply. It was just what I was thinking and my journey is that I had a neurological operation 18 months ago and I have been told my body is still in trauma. So I am definitely going to investigate further.Out of interest where are you based in the UK?

Oh…& the Missus went missing for 7 months. Then we parted , when I rumbled her..
Hi Daniel, I can relate to you, I have no hearing loss but went through a lot of stress & family anxiety last August & then woke up September with what seemed like an untuned orchestra in my head, possibly more left sided, months then followed of more anxiety caused by the tinnutis!! I had acupuncture, did 6 weeks of yoga, swimming & things have calmed down alot in my head now, although the tinnutis is still there, and I would do anything to hear silence again when I lay my head on the pillow, it doesn't have the same devastating affect it had on me 9 months ago. So I believe any activity/therapy which relaxes/calms is beneficial on the overall impact of tinnutis. Say hi to Newquay, I'm originally from Plymouth & had many mispent weekends down there in my youth!!!!
Agreed… I think Acceptance is part of it.”After doing research, the amount of people in the armed forces that have it is Astronomical…. My Hard bit was_. SO IM GONNA HAVE THIS FOREVER…. CBT wise, the No End date causes more Anxiety.. so escalates. Also NEGATIVE PEOPLE TRIGGER MINE…”
I will be back on my Bike Tomorrow.. doing the same again _ Too. Improve my day…
Also we deflect Our Catastrophic/… or what seems onto others.
There’s also research out that lots have Acquired The Big T.. after having COVID.?
I completely refuse that T is necessary forever, whilst I am realistic that it probably is, never say never!!! We have to believe that it may just go & remain positive & continue to do things that relax and feel good. I also know many that now have T following Covid/vaccine. All the best, stay upbeat!!
I have tried it, didn’t do anything for me unfortunately, worked out expensive, but would pay anything to get rid of the the T, not to say it wouldn’t work for you.
