can u have constant tinnitus or will it setel down

Yes most people will have it for life.Some are lucky enough to get used to it (habituate).For others,like me,it can reach horrible levels and get worse particularly if you have hearing loss.

Once you have it you must take great care and avoid any more loud noise and see your GP and insist on referral to ent for any tests to check for any underlying cause.

Sorry that’s one answer I can’t answer everyone’s T can be different.sounds tone volume in one ear or both.have had mine can’t remember when it started.in both ears different sounds and tone.it just something you have to live with if you look on here there are ways that you can help you manage it.today a lot more people understand T and know how it affects people.in the remake of a star is born The Male singer mentions having T.be brave I know it can get you down I know it’s hard but try not to let it ruin your life.rember on here are people who know what you are going through and they will support you any way they can.
