Unique tinnitus treatments in the UK

I will be traveling to London next week. Does anyone know if there are any effective tinnitus treatments or technologies in the UK that I can research that are not available in the US where I reside. I thought perhaps there might be something new in the UK that the FDA has yet to approve here in the US. Thank you.

Go to the website of Tinnitus UK. There might be something there that’s helpful. As far as I’m aware there are no treatments here that you would’ve able to get, and TUK won’t recommend any, but there are clinics that might be helpful and possucheaper than you can get. Other posters here might have some names of clinics.

Hi Geoman. I don't believe there are any effective treatments for T in the UK. . Please be careful. There are clinics who promise the earth for a small fortune.

I’d say, doglover, that there are effective treatments, such as CBT. You might have means there’s no cures?

the best tinnitus resource in the world is Treble Health website and youtube - based in California. Dont think u will find anything better than that for information and managing tinnitus and news about new developments

Most new developments and ways of managing T come out of US anyway

The UK is behind America for clinical trials. Not 1 single trial for tinnitus in 2023. We spend almost no money on research (300k year) and the charity has never achieved any significant funding in almost 50 years.
