Morning. I’ve taken CBD Drops and I think they do help for anxiety. I haven’t noticed my tinnitus go down though sadly!! Let know which CBD oil you take and if you have heard anything about effects of tinnitus

Hi thanks for your reply . I don’t expect them to make my tinnitus go down but I’m hoping they will help with my anxiety , I have had tinnitus for 4 years now and 7 operations on my ear, I am now onto my second cochlear implant and experiencing a lot of pain from all of the intervention. I live in Australia , we had to apply through Canberra ( our capital city) so I get the drops on Tuesday . I take a couple of tablets for anxiety and hoping this will get my anxiety down . When I get the drops I will let you know the name of them .

Thanks for your message.... I haven’t heard if it does or does not affect tinnitus , but anxiety does !

Ok sounds like a plan. I think the cbd will help with your anxiety and keep you calm. Take care

Hi ...my name is Jenny by the way .. i have the drops but starting off very low o.1 ml . They are called Tilray. I then go on to o.2 next week . I haven’t noticed anything with my anxiety as yet but it’s very early days . I went through a Dr and it took a few weeks to come. I had to have a long interview with the Dr to qualify to get the drops . Will let you know if I start to feel absolutely wonderful and if these crickets in my ear go away! Take care , Jenny 🌞

Hi Jenny - I think you're right to not view CBD oil as a solution for tinnitus, but as something which may potentially help another issue. If it works for you with anxiety, hopefully this reduction might also diminish the degree of attention you find yourself giving to tinnitus via anxiety.

As you know, anything that you can do to feel more in control of your anxiety is likely to be a big help with tinnitus.

Thanks Pat ....I am totally aware that the CBD drops will not bring down my tinnitus but I am hoping it will bring down my anxiety and I can stop taking anti depressants and sleeping tablets which I hate taking . I will keep you updated if you are interested .

Warm regards,

Jenny
