Does this stuff keep your ears clear,i get very waxy ears this seems to soften wax but not remove it.
My ears block up every 3/4 weeks blocking my hearing aids.
Is there anything better to manage the build up of wax.
Thanks.

Lioned, definitely!! The person who suctions my ears says that NO-ONE with hearing aids should ever put olive oil in their ears.
At the pharmacy I buy Sodium Bicarbonte drops, and also use these on a tissue to clean the hearing aids. Costs a pound or two and lasts for months. Try it out!
Absolutely agree with Happyrosie. I wear hearing aids and have trouble with blocked ears due to weird ear canals (they go vertical not horizontal and very narrow, I have had surgery on both to remove the cartilage), I was told years ago not to use olive oil as it is too sticky. Sodium Bircarb works a treat.
Good Luck hope it works for you.
Hi Lioned,
Works for me - I wear hearing aids - Earol recommended by my audiologist. Doesn`t necessarily remove the wax but if you start to use it a couple of times a week in the evening after your ears have either been syringed or microsuctioned it will keep the wax soft and keep your ears clear for longer.
It`s not like the usual olive oil - not as thick and messy.
Sodium bicarbonate drops are good for removing wax but I can`t use them because they make the skin in my ears very dry.

Eddie - I use them once a week to keep ears clear, once they have been suctioned . My most recent suction was 18 months or so ago, and the canals are clear. Finger crossed,
If the canals are blocked this would be twice a day.
They sort of dissolve the wax.
Hi Lioned
Otex soda bicarb drops twice a month does the trick for me
Fill the dropper up, lie down on your side, squirt the bicarb into the ear canal
Feels very! cold, when it reaches the eardrum
Do one side at a time - let it soak in for 15 mins
Then use a GENTLE (do NOT use a normal one!) syringe that you can get on amazon with warm water and flush the residue out
The gentle syringe reduces the pressure of a normal syringe by 75% btw
Normal syringes, as you may be aware, actually cause T in some people
All the best!

Thanks 👍
two drops sodium bicarpbonate in both ears ever 10 days does the trick
