My tinnitus shoots up loudly in volume after taking deep breaths?

I was trying to meditate yesterday and I took a few deep breaths and right after, my tinnitus shot up real loudly to level 10. It went from a 5 to a 10 then it slowly came back down to a 5 within a couple minutes. This happens sometimes when I'm crying too. It wasn't fleeting tinnitus I dont think. My tinnitus tones I was having that day flare up randomly super loud to a 10 and slowly goes back to its original level if I'm crying or breathing hard or something like that. What could this be?
