look up Dr. Sebi, my friend, thoughts are with yous all...if you can source sour sop and the many other cancer fighting fruits and foods the chemo may be able to be kept to minimum, good luck to you all....a good canna oil could help too
I have metastatic breast cancer which is stage 4 incurable cancer I've suffered from tinnitus for over 20 years but it was fairly quiet and I coped fine with it.
I was diagnosed in 2013 I've been on chemo ever since until recently in Nov my tinnitus became unbearable but I'm not sure if it was an idiopathic result of changing the dose of gabapentin.
There are some chemo therapies that can cause tinnitus that are the ones that contain platinum if your sister was to be put on one of those drugs they would discuss the risks to hearing and getting tinnitus . Dont be scared . I had tinnitus before I started treatment and have been on it a long time . I know lots of ladies in my situation that dont have tinnitus and your sister is not stage 4 .
Why not ring mc millan and get some advice if you're still worried
David Baguley is one of the leading lights in tinnitus research in the UK and I believe he was / is the president of the BTA. He's done lots of research on the effect of chemo / cancer treatment on the hearing system and the risks of tinnitus as a result of such treatment.
Google him and I'm sure you'll find loads of relevant information.
