I have had Tinnitus for a number of years but I suppose it is on the 'back burner' mainly due to increasing issues with my Cerebral Palsy and Arachnoiditis getting worse.
Any advice on how to elevate my Tinnitus would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I shall do
Already a big difference, thank you so much for this advice. I shall keep working on it
Good lad I'm glad it's of some help you can use headphones if you want and turn it up until it covers the tinnitus
Not criticising but the advice normally given when using masking devices, is to have the volume set so that you hear the tinnitus with the masking sound.
Absolutely,my audiologist who has a “special” interest in mt T,is adamant that is how to deal with it,he says that you will not habituate otherwise, however no problem turning it up occasionally for a while when T really gets a hold of you,but essential you do turn the volume back down so the T can be heard,,now, he may be wrong, but this guy pulled me round from the “ dark place “ I was in and without him ,well,in a few words,I deffo would be pushing up daisys now.
Thank tryout to yourself and others for suggestions. I shall see how I get onafter digesting these
