While doing my normal, what is causing my T and earache research!!!

Came across this, thought it would be worth a share ezinearticles.com/?Tinnitus...

not so sure about the alkaline water info, but drinking water in general is interesting, something I'm not very good at and for many, many years, I certainly drink very little of anything throughout the day.

Thank you. Very interesting. I research relentlessly but I hadn’t found this. I have hyperacusis with pain as well as pulsatile t so the bit about the hyperactive lambic brain made sense. And not much does these days!!! Off to ENT again tomorrow and they won’t have a clue about any of this but I’ll gave a go.

Will certainly be increasing my water intake. I wake up with very loud tinnitus and a very dry mouth.

Thanks for the posting.

Hi Berry, yes, since getting T I find that if I don’t drink 1litre of water each day - plus my usual cups of tea - it becomes bothersome. Also I have a glass of water on my bedside table to sip if I wake up during the night - don’t wake up with dry mouth.

My pleasure Berry - in this summer’s heatwave I forgot to take a bottle of water with me whilst walking into town; sure enough my T began to get louder. We learn to manage this unwelcome alien!

I’ve also been trying some apple cider vinegar, I got the proper stuff by Bragg’s with “the mother” in, I will see how it goes this week

Hydration is really important, but I'm a bit dubious about alkaline water - our stomach is so acid, it would all be neutralised the moment it hits that, surely?

I've lived in various parts of the country, from Scotland with it's more acidic, peaty water to my current chalky, hard as nails stuff in Suffolk, and I've never noticed a difference, except in how many bubbles I get from soap!

Warmest wishes
