Hello. I am new on here and have had tinnitus since 2014. I have recently started on HRT and my tinnitus has ranked up in volume. Have any other ladies found this or is it coincidental?

Hi there,

Im peri and really looked into this. I know a lot of women develop Tinnitus during pregnancy and monthly cycles can cause it to fluctuate...Im 7 months in with T and literally just starting to notice this. In general it appears HRT can increase or worsen it. I live in "flush city" and was going to approach my GP for HRT....I personally dont think ill bother now. There are a few articles on the internet and Im sure there was another post on here sometime ago. Ill just use a mini fan...the added bonus being it drowns out the noise in my ears ! 🙄....suppose it just depends on which set of symptoms bother you the most.

Take care,

Shell
