Hypnosis

Just joined this site, anyone know if hypnosis helps, willing to give anything a chance, this is driving me mad?

Hi Irene, and welcome to this friendly and supportive forum. I have been taking advice from forum members for over 2 years now and I cannot remember anyone having posted positive comments about hypnosis or hypnotherapy. Unless, of course, someone pops along in a little while and says otherwise .......... Angela xx

Hello Irene,

I had two sessions at £90 a go. Did nothing for me. I don't even think that I was properly under. Just sat there trying to get into it but spent more time thinking about what I was going to have for tea!!

I am into trying everything. I think that it is worth a go. You may strike gold and it works for you.

Never tried it myself, but if the accepted wisdom is that habituation only develops by training your brain that you don't need to hear the noise, then there shouldn't be any reason why hypnosis shouldn't work. Let us know how you get on if you do try it.
