Whooshing noise in one ear?
Welcome to the BTA community Dalmation.
Could be due to Blood pressure when more active or a cold virus in your system or sinuses or if your hearing is down or wax build up,stress or loud music can cause it too..
See how you go over the weekend and then pop in see your GP for a check up if still have it....lots of love glynis
If the whooshing is in time/synchronised with your heartbeat, it could be pulsatile tinnitus (which I have). Visit the following website for info all about pulsatile tinnitus:

Under the tab ' A Note to the Medical Community'on their homepage, there is some great advice that you need when you go to see the doctor (most know nothing about pulsatile tinnitus and incorrectly treat it like tinnitus).
They also have a great facebook group where you can talk with fellow sufferers.
It sounds like you have" Pulsatile Tinnitus "connected to blood vessels running near your left ear, i'd mention this to your doctor if I were you. Sorry I can't be more specific but i'm sure the sound is connected to blood vessels. Best Wishes .
