Loss of Appetite

Evening all do you find when your tinnitus is bad you seem to lose your appetite? Especially if you are having several bad days as I am the moment just don't feel like eating. David

Yes ,I go really quiet and don't eat.

Keep your fluids up and have a few nibbles handy and fruit etc .

Try eat a little so don't get rundown... lots of love glynis

Hi David, I was just about to pm you to ask how you were. I ate very little when I got the T and lost a lot of weight. My Gp put me on anti anxiety pills and my appetite came back. When your new meds kick in maybe you will feel like eating more. Glynis makes a good suggestion though. Love Angela xx

Your Amitryptaline might help calm it in time as that and Nortryptaline can reduce tinnitus for some people.

I'm doing better for a few days so hope its the nortryptaline

Hi David,

Im still trying to find my way around the new site and missed this post so apologise for this. I can't say that i lose my appetite when my T spikes but then i think i have moderate tinnitus so that might make a difference. I guess if its making you feel a bit low in mood, then that can make you lose your appetite so it could be this rather than the tinnitus. Hope the meds kick in soon and you begin to feel better than you do now. Love lesley x
