I'm an elderly newcomer who will occasionally be reading the posts for some moral support. As an obsessive, tinnitus can be very hard to tolerate sometimes and very depressing - but I have found that hearing aids with an additional masker are definitely a psychological help. I went to the Tinnitus Clinic in Harley Street but am sure it could be worth asking the NHS about them.

Good luck.
