Hi, i'm sorry i can't comment on your cough. Your feet yes, i've had really painful feet for 5 years now. Levo at 200mcg and now NDT hasn't as yet had any effect. I wonder if T 3 will help? It's so painful to walk, and sitting in the evening they still hurt and often contribute to me not sleeping. My pain is the arch which is tender and burns, then the balls of my feet feel painful and swollen, where my toes join my feet is painful and there is swelling in my toes. There's a lot of nerve pain in my toes.

Is your pain similar?

Hi For the feet ,make sure that it is not diabetes, funny symptoms to start with and as hormonal and autoimmune, very like thyroid disease. Cough, can be lots of things but need it checked out, Respiratory physician, thyroid ultra sound, cheat x ray, it can even be heart, but unlikely ,as not the first symptom., or gut. Also make sure, iron. ferritin and B12 + Foliates are oK. I hope that helps. Do get it checked out, just in case.I have asthma too, it is different.

Best wishes,

Jackie

I had this problem, my feet were always hurting but when I found out that I was severely deficient in Vit D and then put on high dose Pro D3 by my GP the pain went within months and hasnt returned. Have you had your vit d tested?

HI all thanks for getting back. Helcaster the pain is down the sides of both feet like an unbearable ache but my heels feel numb with pain as well i have been on 2500 of pro D3 a day i am thinking along the lines of vitB12 as my tongue keeps swelling as well got to go docs this afternoon see if he/she can shed some light going to ask for B12 bloods and vit D 3 as taking to much of Vit D 3 can cause problems and no one has checked since my docter put me on it will let u all know xx

Hi Lifeback, I've been on B12 for yonks, my results were just in the 500's My D3 was 50 I think, low? I'm taking both and now Magnesium too, thanks to edysia's advice. like you I have had a swollen tongue, I must be in my 7th year of it, it hasn't improved at all. If your doctor can shed any light on it please let us know. I've had my feet scanned and i know it''s not plantar faciitis. The foot specialist I saw said it was something systemic, and asked my doc to do certain blood tests. She never did do them, and I never knew which ones were requested.

I went shopping yesterday the first time in weeks and within 10 mins I had to sit down. It's so hard trying to stay upbeat like this :-(

Hi Helcaster went to docters he has just started there so he couldnt throw me out of the room in 5 minutes.Have to have blood tests for B12 Vit D because you can take to much so asked him to check. x-ray for Knee which keeps giving way thinks i have tendonitis ,and feet( physio) because he thinks it is planter fascitis if all this all fails then im to have injections in my feet dont think so unless they know what it is first. And just went on net and looked at symptoms of hashi,s and tendonitis and it is there.Thought i was going to take levo and be ok how wrong was i. Some days i think im not going to let it get me down but when i cant walk that scares me. Another thing just rememberd he did my reflexs and my right leg didnt move when he did it forgot to ask him why,. so much was going on.Have you ever been tested for lupus i always thought thats what i had tests kept coming back negative if i find out anything regarding feet will let you know xxx
