I don't know if this will work. As you know the search box is at the top right hand side.

If you click on the blogs and put your search in, maybe that will bring up something on the blogs.

Also if you click on the questions and put your search in there, hopefully both these work.

If not someone more experienced than myself can assist.

One other thing worth trying is to click on TAGS (on the menu bar at the top of the page) and have a look at the all the tags/keywords in case there is a specific topic in there you are searching for information on?

It does not work well.

Best chance is searching for a word which only occurs a few times here. Once you search for a common word, it fails. Forget "thyroid" or "levothyroxine", but something like "riboflavin" works fine.

This is a known issue - we fervently hope HU get it sorted. Soon.

thanks all. this forum is loaded with information that can be mined and used to provide evidence for campaigns etc. It needs a working search engine.

E.g. how many members are reporting that their GP is reducing their meds without consulting them. easy to find using a search engine, very time consuming going through them individually.

Heath Unlocked are fully aware of our feeling on this! They are working on a major upgrade to the site at the moment, and last time I mentioned the search function to them, the response was as follows:

Search function of the platform will most definitely be improved, along with auto-tagging of all posts. This is a priority for us as we realise the useful information being shared absolutely needs to be sorted and searched better to make the platform useful!
