My little girls whos 8 just had her eyes tested in 6 months her eyes have got worse in sight and she has all the symptoms that say she has hypothyroidism?! But dr won't treat her, the optition said I need to sort her health out and get her sorted as this could be affecting her eyes!

In a firm, but as controlled and pleasant a manner as you are able, DEMAND a referral at paediatrician - preferably one who is well-versed in thyroid issues. If the doctor still refuses, then demand a second opinion and get the refusal in writing.

(Yes - I appreciate this is not easy. Do your best. :-) )

Has she been tested? Have you got the results? (Include reference ranges if you can.)

I'd put my money on an optician and a dermatologist over a GP and whatever sort of consultant she saw.

You are absolutely entitled to ask for a second opinion.

So ask for that. And come back.
