Question for admin on searching site

Hi, when you do a search on here, are the results in any order, like most relevance first? I would have thought this be the case but it does not seem to be? Or am i missing something?

Not as far as we can tell! The poor search function is something we have been on at the technical team about for some considerable time.

All I can do is apologise. Hopefully something will be done in the next update of the site - coming soon - or the one after.

I tend to think of it more as a lucky dip than a search function. Put a word in the box and see what comes out... you might be lucky and get what you're hoping for. But the odds are higher that you might not
