Hi,i got print out of all my tests going back to 1999,inoticed my tsh was sitting at 0.10 a lot of the time i asked on here if this was ok and was told that if i felt fine not to worry, but i should have painted the whole picture back in 99 it was ranging from 2.14 to .010 then .070 and seemed steady at 0.10 for 2 yrs and then shot to 0.37 then back to 0.10 for 2 yrs then once up to1.16 went up and down and last test 14.11.12 was back at 0.10 t4 up and down ranging from 15 - 27.Does levels rise and fall in NORMAL people as well,,Please could someone make sense of this for me.
Confused about my results.: Hi,i got print out of... - Thyroid UK
Confused about my results.
Have you had an antibody test? If you've got Hashi's, that could be causing it. Do you have and T3 or T4 results?
Grey
Hi Greygoose ,thanks for getting back to me only got tested for t3 once that was oct 12 it was 4.1 t4 was 16,Dr then put my levo up from 125 to 150.GP has told me in this past that antibodies/white blood cell count not right but that's as far as he goes, what i have found in this results is CORRECTED SERUM CALCIUM LEVEL is low 2.17 (2.20-2.60) but he wants to wait and see what happens!!!!!My t4 goes up and down last few tests have been 11,18,15,18,14,16,20 is this normal.?
As greygoose has said - Hashimoto's cause fluctuation in hormone levels and can swing between hyper and hypo in extremes but certainly could account for your variable levels. Do your history of results show any tests for thyroid anti bodies? This should have been checked at diagnosis to determine the cause of your thyroid condition. It makes a difference.
If your calcium levels are low - you should definitely be given a vitamin D check. Has that been done? Also vitamin B12 and ferritin.
Another thought is - how and when do you take your thyroxine? Do you take it well away from other medication, food and drink except water?
I have posted a couple of blogs about how TSH and thyroid hormone levels vary.

Not saying they answer your questions, but maybe they will help in identifying what happens in "normal" people?

Thanks editfmrt & helvella i really appreciate your advice,Do you believe i have just found out that i have Hashimoto's after reading greygoose's answer i checked some of the paperwork and someone has written in pen to check my thyroid a/bodies that was in 2000 and in 2012 letter from follow-up register states that i have Autoimm/idiopathic hypothyroid,So why does my doctor always scratch his head when things are not right, would that not be self explanatiry,Coul Admin tell me how to delete last diagnos can update new condition but can't delete old one .Thanks all.
Sorry it's in "MY HEALTH " section.x
Ohhhh!! You should be able to change it to say that you don't have it any more and then put in non-autoimmunue instead. I can't quite remember how - you can send a feebback Q via the feedback link in myHealth - at the top of the screen.
