Hi All,
Have a look at this article in the DM today regarding why some people suffer with the cold more than others - and apparently women suffer more than men (nothing new there then.lol.)

Very interesting piece. I have raynauds and my hands go white and numb. I wear sheepskin mittens as they work best for me, but even in the house one or two of my fingers will go numb especially if I am preparing veg in the kitchen. We went to Portugal in January and on some days I still had to put my gloves on ( I get some funny looks). My hubby can't stand me near him in bed ( well not till I have warmed up a bit). I do believe that women suffer more too. My hubby never wears gloves no matter how cold it is and he's nearly 62.
How come they didn't mention thyroid as a cause? Being hypo is a pretty big reason for being cold. And awful lot of hypos are.
