I have been taking thyroxine for 10 years, after my previous blood test the level was too high and I agreed to reduce it. The last blood test taken last week now has my level at acceptable but my doctor now says I have an autoimune problem but I can't rember what he said it was. can anyone give me any info on this please

rather than us guessing why don't you write your self a list of questions and then phone your surgery and ask for a telephone call from the same dr at a time when you will be at home so when the dr phones you have your list to ask questions from and pen and paper to write down the answers
Thyroid is an auto-immune condition plus its quite common that once one starts others follow.
May be Hashimotos, that's what I have. Your body is attacking your immune system.
