That is really interesting - do you know at what TSH level, you are considered as supressed?

Ok, so linking the two articles suggests that you may need TSH lower than 0.5 to lose weight (and maybe to relieve other symptoms too). This might explain why my TSH at 0.7 - 0.8 ish still leaves me feeling no different to when it was 5 - 6 ish.

It would seem lots of people feel better with a very low TSH. (outside the normal range).
