Lucky some. No sunshine here today, though there was a little bit yesterday.

I was starting to feel pretty awful over the last few days, but after sitting in the sun for a few minutes yesterday I felt much much better. I thought it might be vitamin D, but apparently after 2pm (especially in the winter) there's no UVB. If that's correct then it must have been something else. I would be amazed if it was placebo alone though, especially since I was feeling nocebo.

I have just been told ,after asking to be tested ,that I have low vitamin D and was just wondering how long before they get into your system ,and should they make you feel better!and in what way ?

The lastist is that the sun produces very little Vitiam D.. Its synthesis within the body and food intake.. But the vit. D is being used up. Some say u need to take it every day and others say only once a week. Yet others say don`t take it at all because its suppressing the immune system if you incease it.
