Hi I found this article really helpful, I shall take it and show my GP, I`m getting loads of info to show her, in the belief that you just take Thyroxine and all is well. Because it isn`t in my case.Anything to get her to listen Thank you

Have just checked out the British Thyroid Association's web site which on at first glance seems to be for Doctors. If so, I don't hold out much hope for changing any medication. I could be wrong and will keep reading. They appear to be advocating Levothyroxine as the be all, and end all.
