Brand info at pharmacy

Hi,Just wondering if I need to put anything on my NHS App when I order my Levro?

It was a different pharmacist yesterday, I checked my medication as I can't take any Levro with Mannotil in it. I did say that this should be on my notes at the pharmacy but all the pharmacist did was show me the script, saying 'it just says plain levrothyroxine, okay, bye'

I was given a brand I haven't had before, (can't remember the name) but the filler is lactose so said that I will give it a try. I will note any changes once I am taking it

Request note added to all future prescriptions

Either specify the actual brand required or a note saying “no Teva”

Shaldon The first line of my scrip reads Vencamil 100mcgm. Vencamil is free of lactose and mannitol and there are 25, 50 and 75 mcgm tablets available. Your GP needs to write the scrip as Vencamil, then the dose in mcgm. We are entitled to have medication that doesnt make us more ill. Always check your prescription before you leave the chemists and if it isnt correct give it back and ask them to follow the instructions on the scrip.
