I’ve gained 2.5kg in the last 4 weeks whilst eating a fraction of what I used to eat before the surgery. My hair is also falling in clumps.

Has anyone experienced this and how have you dealt with this? Surgeon says my hormones are fine

what did surgeon test?

Get a copy of results & lab range & let’s see if they are fine. Optimal is not same as in range.

You also may not have had a complete test.

They did TSH and T4, refused to do T3 as they said not necessary. I’m not sure what my optimal levels are as I have been on the higher range majority of the time before surgery. I also have a lot of other symptoms and my GP has just agreed to repeat my bloods 😭
