The alerts at the bottom of my page don’t disappear straight away so it is becoming confusing to me. Is anyone else having this problem?

I keep thinking pennyannie is replying to me again and again

I am now getting no alerts!

Alerts have changed behaviour in recent weeks/months.

I find I have to refresh the page to have any certainty as to what is happening.

I use two different browsers on two different computers plus my phone. And multiple tabs/windows in each browser. And can easily see odd patterns of numbers of alerts indicated.

Therefore I find myself refreshing on multiple devices/browsers/windows/tabs. (Obviously only have to be concerned about the one browser I am using at this moment. But if I go to another, the first thing I have to do is refresh.)

I have tried that. I did not know you had replied until I looked at my thread I am using safari on my iPhone btw

I just did a refresh and saw three alerts (using Firefox on macOS).

Two were your replies to me here.

But there was nothing to indicate I needed to refresh. So I could easily have missed your replies until I did a refresh or, maybe, had a similar effect by jumping to another post.

I seem to have a similar problems, even when I refresh the page, the alerts do not show up, so I have to actively look at the drop down to see likes or replies. Or the alerts keep showing again and again... I think the system is not working properly...😢
